TEACHING

Having worked as a casual teacher for various music education providers including the University of Sydney, Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and various private schools in Europe and the Middle East. Sako provides tailored lessons for each individual student to ensure that they make the most of their lesson time and enjoy the learning process. He has taught classical and contemporary styles for over 10 years to students aged 6 and up and has experience teaching repertoire and technical skills from the AMEB syllabus.

 

If required, he facilitates high-quality online lessons for remote learning, holding a Certificate IV in Sound Production and Certificate III in Computer Programming from TAFE.

Sako is an official TEDx performer/speaker and an officially endorsed Yamaha Australia artist. Music festivals include Peak Festival, Perisher, Sydney Folk Festival, Armenian Film Festival (Sydney & Melbourne), Melbourne Guitar Festival, Crooked River Wine Festival, Illawarra Hawks (NBA) Match and WIN Stadium New Year’s Eve Event in 2017. A staple soloist in Sydney and regional NSW, Sako has performed for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, City Recital Hall and a featured artist for Fine Music FM, Sydney; ABC Sydney and ABC Illawarra.
